All four can generate Verifactu invoices from Stripe, but the scope differs: Quaderno targets international SaaS tax compliance (broader and pricier than Verifactu alone); EasyVerifactu and Verifacti are lightweight plugins focused on PDF + QR per payment; BeeL. is a native Stripe Connect connector with real multi-store, its own REST API so your product can read the legal invoice, independent series per Stripe account and automatic credit notes on refunds. What is Verifactu and why does it affect me if I charge with Stripe?

Verifactu is the invoicing system the Spanish tax authority (AEAT) requires of all freelancers and companies in Spain starting January 1, 2027. Every invoice must be signed, carry a QR code and be registered in real time. Stripe processes the charge but doesn't generate the legal invoice: that's on you.

Do I need to know how to code to connect Stripe to BeeL.?

No. The connection is made through Stripe Connect with OAuth 2.0, Stripe's official standard for connecting third-party accounts. You just need to authorize BeeL. from your Stripe dashboard. No code, no technical setup.

Can I connect multiple Stripe stores to a single BeeL. account?

Yes. You'll be able to connect multiple Stripe accounts and set up independent invoice series for each one, with scoped API keys per store that inherit permissions from your main account.

What types of payments does the integration detect?

The integration will detect completed payments from Payment Links, Stripe Checkout (hosted and embedded), subscriptions (recurring charges, plan changes, cancellations) and manual payments through the Stripe dashboard.

Can I filter which payments automatically generate an invoice?

Yes. You'll be able to set filters by minimum amount, product type, or Stripe metadata to control exactly which payments generate an invoice and which don't.

Are invoices automatically sent to the customer by email?

Yes. BeeL. will automatically send the PDF invoice to the customer's email associated with the Stripe payment, with your branding and complete tax details.

How does the Stripe Connect integration work?

BeeL. uses Stripe Connect to securely access your payment data. When you authorize BeeL., an OAuth 2.0 connection is created with read-only permissions on your transactions. BeeL. listens for payment events and generates invoices automatically. You can revoke access at any time from your Stripe dashboard.

What happens if I refund a Stripe payment?

BeeL. detects Stripe's charge.refunded event and automatically issues a credit note linked by hash to the original invoice. It works with full and partial refunds. The Verifactu chain stays intact for any AEAT audit.

When does BeeL. issue a simplified invoice instead of a tax invoice?

When the customer doesn't provide a tax ID at payment AND the amount is below €400 (VAT included), per Article 4 of the Spanish Invoicing Regulation (RD 1619/2012). Above the threshold or if the customer provides a tax ID, BeeL. issues a tax invoice. You can force tax invoice mode always from the filter settings.
